Volleyball Recap: Rosman Tigers vs. Cherokee Braves

Rosman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cherokee Braves, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-4.

Emilee Brady went supernova For Cherokee., getting 85 digs and three aces. Those 85 digs gave Brady a new career-high. Joscelyn Stamper was another key player, getting 12 digs, 11 kills, five blocks, and two aces.

Rosman's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Cherokee, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-8.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Rosman and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cherokee, they will take on Robbinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
