Softball Game Preview: Canyon Comanches vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

The Canyon Comanches will face off against the Roosevelt Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Canyon's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Roosevelt's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Canyon wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt posted their closest victory since March 20, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past Colony 9-7.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Canyon, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4.

Canyon couldn't quite get it done against Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 as they fell 6-2. Can the Comanches avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
