Baseball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Eagles vs. Grace Christian Academy Lions

The Victory Christian Academy Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Grace Christian Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Victory Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Grace Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Victory Christian Academy got the win against Potter Valley by a conclusive 15-4. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Victory Christian Academy let JT Russell and Tyler Hadley run wild. Russell went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Hadley went 3-for-4 with six RBI, one run, and one double. Those six RBI gave Hadley a new career-high. Adam Mendoza was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.89 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Point Arena. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Grace Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Victory Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Grace Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April and fell 7-5. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
