McMullen County came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 58.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 67-42 margin over the San Isidro Tigers. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

McMullen County found their leader in freshman Joseph Timms, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points. Timms is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Timms, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points.

McMullen County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for San Isidro, they moved to 9-16 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

When McMullen County and San Isidro next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. McMullen County will try to stop San Perlita's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McMullen County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Similarly, San Isidro will square off against STX and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
