The Dundalk Owls will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bel Air Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dundalk was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They enjoyed a cozy 21-3 victory over Franklin. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dundalk.
The critical scores for Dundalk came from Anthony Smith jr., Micah Williams, and Jocquan Jenkins.
The team won by holding Franklin to a paltry 136 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Dundalk's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out five times before it was all said and done. The heavy lifting was done by Datangnan Pittman and Jenkins who racked up four sacks between them.
Meanwhile, Bel Air beat Elkton 26-19 on Thursday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bel Air to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jo?l Tristan ouandji nana, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown. Tristan ouandji nana is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last six games he's played. Patrick Sullivan was another key contributor, throwing for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Dundalk's win on Friday bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bel Air, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
