Volleyball Recap: Strasburg Takes a Loss

If Strasburg was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Frontier Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Wiggins Tigers on Tuesday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-3.

Laci Zimmerman paced Strasburg's offense, picking up six kills. Zimmerman got some help from Camryn Forbis and her 11 assists.

Strasburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Wiggins, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Strasburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Valley on the 23rd. As for Wiggins, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Briggsdale on the 23rd.
