Football Recap: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Crescent Tigers

Pendleton lost against Crescent back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 28-21 to the Tigers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 18, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Mason Evans was his usual excellent self, rushing for 110 yards and three TDs, while also throwing for 188 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.7% of his passes for Crescent. The Tigers' leading receiver Amiri Acker was Evans' top target yet again, picking up 128 receiving yards and one score.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Crescent, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Pendleton will head out to challenge Broome at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Centurions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Crescent, they will be playing at home against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
