Softball Recap: Lakewood Has No Trouble Against Manning

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Darlington, Lakewood was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Manning Monarchs. Considering the Gators have won four games by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lakewood's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Manning, they moved to 4-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Lakewood will take on South Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manning, they will head out to square off against Mullins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
