Volleyball Recap: Big Valley Christian Now 11-3 over Last 14 Games

Big Valley Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Turlock Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Faye Dobson paced Big Valley Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Dobson got some help from Ella Alavezos and her 17 assists. Karlie Powell and Caitlin Echegoyen kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Big Valley Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Turlock, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

Coincidentally, Big Valley Christian and Turlock will both be playing Granite Bay the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
