Ripley won the last time they faced Riverside and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ripley Vikings came out on top against the Riverside Warriors by a score of 50-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Ward, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 13 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds Ward has posted since back in February of 2024. Laila Campbell was another key player, going 6-for-15 on her way to 14 points.

Ripley's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coming up, Ripley will challenge Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ripley is facing Lincoln County at the right time seeing as Lincoln County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will square off against Capital at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
