Volleyball Recap: Seaside Spartans vs. Pacific Grove Breakers
Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Pacific Grove Breakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-11.
Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pacific Grove, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Seaside will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Watsonville at 6:00 p.m. on September 26th. As for Pacific Grove, they will venture away from home to face off against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
