Tioga lost against Van Alstyne on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kennedy Slay paced Tioga's offense, picking up five kills. Slay got some help from Sadie Bates and her seven assists.

Tioga's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Van Alstyne, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Tioga has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Callisburg on the 19th. As for Van Alstyne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sherman on the 19th.
