Basketball Recap: Bryant Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bryant can now relate to. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foley Lions on Friday. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Bryant still got an impressive performance from Mari-Margret Grayson, who went 9-for-20 on her way to 25 points. That's the most points Grayson has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi-Marie Grayson, who put up 19 points.

Bryant's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Foley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Bryant nor Foley have any future games scheduled.
