Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Charleston Catholic Irish

Buffalo is 1-9 against Charleston Catholic since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Buffalo Bison are taking a road trip to challenge the Charleston Catholic Irish at 7:00 p.m. Buffalo knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Charleston Catholic likes a good challenge.

Buffalo easily dispatched Roane County on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Buffalo fell just short of Hoover by a score of 58-55 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Charleston Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to Nitro on the road by a 72-57 margin.

Charleston Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Buffalo, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Things could have been worse for Buffalo, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-51 loss to Charleston Catholic in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Buffalo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
