Turlock and Modesto are an even 4-4-2 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Turlock will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Turlock got the win against Pitman by a conclusive 4-1.

The Bulldogs hit the Pride with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fernando Carbajal (2), Sebastian Chahal, and Mario Chavez.

Meanwhile, Modesto entered their match against Downey on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers lost 6-0 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Modesto can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while Downey are ranked 205th).

Turlock's win bumped their record up to 7-2-4. As for Modesto, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-4.

Turlock beat Modesto 2-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
