Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy and Evangelical Christian pushed the score to 16-6 the last time they played Evangelical Christian, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Lions fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Evangelical Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian Academy will welcome Harding Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harding Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.38 runs per game on average), something Trinity Christian Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. Evangelical Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
