Baseball Recap: Beekmantown Eagles vs. Peru Nighthawks
Beekmantown and Peru squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Beekmantown had to settle for second. They lost 9-3 to the Nighthawks. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Nighthawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Steven Bronson put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up seven earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits.
