Basketball Game Preview: Jackson County Panthers vs. Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs

The Jackson County Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jackson County is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Habersham Central just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 42-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Winder-Barrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alcovy.

Jackson County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-7. As for Winder-Barrow, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Jackson County barely slipped by Winder-Barrow in their previous meeting on January 3rd, winning 44-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
