Softball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Tomales' Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Tomales's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Calistoga Wildcats get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. Considering the Braves have won nine games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tomales has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Calistoga, they moved to 10-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tomales will welcome Credo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gryphon have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.05 runs per game on average), something the Braves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Calistoga, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Potter Valley at 3:00 p.m.
