Emrick Hays Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Garden Plain got the W thanks in part to Emrick Hays playing the best football he has all season. Hays rushed for 211 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (107.8). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

The victory (which was Garden Plain's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Hays and Garden Plain will venture away from home to challenge Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Isaac Winter and Co. Win 17th in a Row

Isaac Winter's big game helped extend Conway Springs's winning streak to 17 on Friday. Winter rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

Winter and Conway Springs will host Ellinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Winter took on the Eagles, he rushed for 84 yards on only five carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Medicine Lodge Gets a Boost from Farr in 20-12 Victory

Braxx Farr posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making four total tackles (3.0 for loss).

This season, Farr has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 69 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 7.6 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Logan Osner Leads Conway Springs over Sterling

Conway Springs picked up their 17th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Logan Osner. Osner produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.

On the year, Osner has thrown 1 touchdown (and no picks) while averaging 25.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 10.17 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 77.33 rushing yards.
