Basketball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a hard 62-46 fall against the Brighton Bulldogs. The Mountain Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain View lost, don't look at Cole Tonniges. Despite the final result, he shot 53% from the field en route to 19 points and eight boards. Keizo Baxter was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Coming up, Mountain View will square off against Greeley West at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brighton, they will take on Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
