Baseball Recap: Overlea Takes a Loss

Overlea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the North County Knights, falling 12-1.

Overlea's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Overlea will welcome Owings Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.67 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Chesapeake at 4:45 p.m.
