Basketball Recap: Adirondack Piles Up the Points Against Canastota

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Adirondack). They breezed past Canastota to the tune of 85-43 on Saturday. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Adirondack's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Canastota, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Adirondack and Canastota will both be playing West Canada Valley the next time they take the court. Canastota will host the Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wildcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
