Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverbend). Everything went their way against the King George Foxes on Friday as they made off with a 9-1 win. With Riverbend ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Riverbend is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for King George, they dropped their record down to 1-7-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Riverbend and King George could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings.
