Volleyball Recap: Brookings Comes Up Short

Brookings lost against Northwestern Area back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Bobcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Brookings' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northwestern Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Brookings wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln on the 30th. As for Northwestern Area, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mitchell on the 30th.
