Yazoo County put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Winona Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Lilly Andrews made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anna Kiley Leal, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Taylor Sullivan was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Yazoo County's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Winona, they moved to 10-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Yazoo County will challenge Edwards at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winona, they will square off against Noxapater at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
