Lodi has gone a perfect 10-0 against West recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Lodi will head out on the road to challenge West at 4:00 p.m. Lodi will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

On Friday, Lodi earned an 8-3 win over Lincoln.

Andrew Fichtner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Jake Focacci was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Rylan Takahashi, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lodi was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln only posted a batting average of .240.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for West's offense. They lost 15-0 to St. Mary's on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Wolfpack have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Lodi's record is now 8-3. As for West, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Lodi took their victory against West when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lodi since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
