Softball Recap: Galileo Comes Up Short

Galileo fell victim to Balboa and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 18-0 to the Buccaneers. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Galileo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Balboa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Galileo will square off against rival Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Balboa is set to face off against their familiar foe Burton at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
