Baseball Recap: Wellston Comes Up Short

Wellston managed to slip by Chandler the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-4 to the Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Wellston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Chandler, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Wellston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-6 victory against Luther on the 18th. As for Chandler, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-5 win against Davenport on the 18th.
