Basketball Recap: Eastern York Comes Up Short

Eastern York and William Penn squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eastern York had to settle for second. They took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the William Penn Bearcats.

William Penn found their leader in sophomore Nasir Barnes, who posted 25 points. Yoziah Romero was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Eastern York's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for William Penn, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Eastern York does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for William Penn, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bearcats challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. William Penn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.1 points per game this season.
