Basketball Recap: Alabama School of Math & Science Takes a Loss

Alabama School of Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Citronelle Wildcats, falling 46-17.

Citronelle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Lynn, who posted 16 points. Taishauna Moody was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Alabama School of Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Citronelle, they moved to 1-7 with that victory, which also ended their 25-game losing streak.

Alabama School of Math & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Citronelle, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Accel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
