Barrow faced Juneau-Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Whalers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Crimson Bears.

Barrow not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Juneau-Douglas to exactly 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Barrow has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7-2 record this season. As for Juneau-Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12-6.

Barrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Juneau-Douglas, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ketchikan at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
