Northshore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 78-70 victory over the Fontainebleau Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-63 back in January.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Laderricka Payne, who went 10 of 16 en route to 21 points and six boards. Payne is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Leila Neal was another key player, going 6 for 9 on her way to 17 points and seven rebounds.

Northshore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Fontainebleau, they dropped their record down to 11-17 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Northshore has already played their next match (against Live Oak), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fontainebleau will be playing in front of their home fans against Hammond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fontainebleau has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
