Basketball Game Preview: Harvest Christian Academy Saints vs. Lakewood Presbyterian Knights

Harvest Christian Academy is 4-0 against Lakewood Presbyterian since November of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Harvest Christian Academy Saints will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Lakewood Presbyterian Knights at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Harvest Christian Academy turned things around against Faith Lutheran on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-24 win over the Lions.

Harvest Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Ryan Colton, who posted 16 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals, and Peyton Ellison, who earned nine points along with eight steals and five boards. With that strong performance, Ellison is now averaging an impressive 2.8 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Reynoso, who had three points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Lakewood Presbyterian strolled past Faustina Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-47.

Harvest Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
