Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Algoma

Algoma hadn't done well against Peshtigo recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Algoma Wolves walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Peshtigo Bulldogs. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 45-42 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win was the fourth in a row for Algoma, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Peshtigo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Algoma will head out to challenge Sevastopol at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peshtigo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-41 loss against Oconto Falls on the 14th.
