Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta lost against Cascade back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Augusta Elks took a blow against the Cascade Badgers, falling 76-36. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cascade, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Augusta will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Cascade, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 83-28 win against Valier on the 11th.
