 Lincoln waltzed into their match  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged the Oak Grove Eagles out  2-1. Despite the  win, that was the fewest points Lincoln has scored all year.
  Carina Reuterskiold spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Lincoln saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Gianna Crouch, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On Oak Grove's side,  Tatyana Watson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and  an  RBI.
 Lincoln is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. As for Oak Grove,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will  face off against Saratoga at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
