Volleyball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mountain Pointe Pride, falling 3-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pride from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-11.

Mountain Pointe found their leader in sophomore Leena Hernandez, who had eight digs and five aces.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Mountain Pointe, they moved to 7-25 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Alhambra nor the Pride have any future games scheduled.
