Baseball Recap: Belle Vernon Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

Belle Vernon strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Laurel Highlands Mustangs as they made off with a 12-4 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Leopards also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Kole Doppelheuer was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Matusik, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
