Capital dropped down to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 47-6 loss at the hands of the Lakes Lancers. The Cougars were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior), but the Lancers' defense proved too tough.
