Soccer Recap: Davenport Takes a Loss

If Davenport was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Somerset last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Davenport Wolves came up short against the Judson Rockets on Friday, falling 8-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wolves were already down 4-1.

Vicente Hernandez and Josh Atampi scored all three of Davenport's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Davenport's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Judson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-3.

Davenport and Bandera will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Judson, they will challenge East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Judson will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
