Basketball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through an 80-31 loss at the hands of Marshfield. Phoenix lost against Marshfield in their previous head to head back in March, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 64-41 score last time.

Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marshfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Phoenix wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-30 loss against Crater on the 16th. As for Marshfield, they will take on Sutherlin in a tournament on Thursday.
