Sentinel is 9-1 against Butte since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sentinel is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Hellgate just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Sentinel actually scored more points across those five sets (101-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 11-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Butte came up short against Gallatin on Saturday and fell 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-18.

Sentinel's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Butte, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Sentinel came out on top in a nail-biter against Butte when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
