Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northern Durham). They skirted past the Crossroads Christian Colts 73-70. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Kobe Edgerton and Ely Phillips certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Edgerton went 9 for 18 on his way to 26 points and three steals, while Phillips went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Phillips is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Bell, who posted 11 points.

Northern Durham's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Crossroads Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Northern Durham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-52 loss against Person on the 3rd. As for Crossroads Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
