Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Poinciana Christian Preparatory

Poinciana Christian Preparatory entered their tilt with Forest Lake Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

One reason for the win was Poinciana Christian Preparatory's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Forest Lake Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ethan Hazen had 16 digs and three assists.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Forest Lake Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Poinciana Christian Preparatory will square off against Celebration at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forest Lake Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Orlando Science on the 2nd.
