Baseball Recap: Greenbrier West Takes a Loss

Greenbrier West lost against Gilmer County back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cavaliers lost 13-3 to the Titans. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenbrier West's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gilmer County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Greenbrier West will take on Trinity Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Gilmer County, they will challenge Webster County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Highlanders have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
