Hot Springs won the last time they faced Socorro, and Andrea Luna did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hot Springs Tigers walked away with a 44-32 victory over the Socorro Warriors on Tuesday which was due in part to Luna, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 20 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.4 rebounds per game.

Alex Gonzales was another key player, putting up four points along with 13 boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Loss or not, Socorro got some senior leadership from Jazmine Alvarado and Ariana Crespin. Alvarado shot 44% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to six boards and six steals, while Crespin posted nine points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Hot Springs has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season. Socorro's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-22.

Hot Springs has already played their next game, a 57-46 loss against Cobre on the 28th. Socorro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
