It was a good run, but Fowler unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Birch Run Panthers by a score of 1-0. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Fowler's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7-1. As for Birch Run, they pushed their record up to 27-11-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Fowler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Haslett on the 18th. As for Birch Run, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Notre Dame Prep on the 18th.
