For the second straight game, Brandeis will face off against Westlake. The Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Chaparrals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brandeis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Brandeis heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (9-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Westlake is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 26-6-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Brandeis, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7-1.
