Football Recap: Heritage Christian Skates Past Leakey with Ease

Heritage Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 72-22 win over Leakey.

Despite the defeat, Leakey had strong showings from Aden Rhiver, who gained 107 total yards and three touchdowns, and Owen Hankins, who rushed for 108 yards on only 15 carries.

Heritage Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Leakey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will welcome Weatherford Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leakey, they will challenge Saint Mary's Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Barons have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
